Four Iranian Christians Receive Prison Sentence-After Being Beaten for their Faith by Police in Public Park

ICC Note: ICC’s partner in Iran reported that the four Christians in Iran that were arrested in January and beaten publicly during a picnic in Southern Iran have been sentenced to one year in prison without any hope of reprieve at the appellate level.

Their sentence further denies these Christian men the freedom to attend a single church service for two years. While the Iranian regime makes money from foreign democratic governments due to the new international sanctions relief deal, they refuse to stop beating and severely oppressing their Christian population.

Iranian Christians will remain to live in constant fear because of their faith unless the world demands reform.

Iran (Present Truth Ministries) -Our sources from Iran are reporting that the verdict has been delivered for Pastor Amin Khaki, brother Daniel (Hossein) Barounzadeh, brother Mohammad Bahrami, and brother Rahman Bahmani.

Attached you will find a copy of the verdicts delivered to them in the Farsi language. The verdict was issued by the Ahwaz Appellate Court branch 16.

If you remember, these believers were arrested during a picnic in Daniel-e Shoosh, in southern Iran. The secret police came to them in plain clothes with guns drawn, threatening, and even beating some in the group of believers.

The verdict is being upheld. Each has been sentenced to serve one year in prison, and they have been banned from holding or attending any church services for two years.

Pray for their release today!!!
